Little Sailors Day - Kids Ride Free is one of the most popular family events during Engineers Weekend in Sault Ste. Marie, and our 2025 photo gallery highlights all the excitement! Families visiting Michigan’s Upper Peninsula joined us for hands‑on activities, learning how the Soo Locks work, meeting our captains and crew, and getting close‑up views of Great Lakes freighters on the St. Marys River.
